The race for AI supremacy a two-horse race, winner-take-all, and "very, very tight."

Today, Anthropic released Fable 5 to the public. This is the guardrailed version of Mythos.

Mythos was the Anthropic model that found and exploited decades-old security flaws on its own. It was deemed so capable they didn't release it and instead took it to the government and convened industry leaders to start building protection against it.

The frontier isn't separating, it's converging.

OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI are bunched together at the top.

And the Chinese labs --DeepSeek, Alibaba, Kimi have compressed the gap, not widened it.

AI rally still has legs

By DANIEL KHOO

The next phase of AI investing would be driven by economics rather than vision, as businesses become increasingly focused on extracting productivity gains at sustainable costs.

“The market does not need to abandon the AI story. It needs to reprice the story”.

Within the local market, HLIB Research’s preferred technology picks are ITMax System Bhd, UWC Bhd, Frontken Corp Bhd and Unisem (M) Bhd.

3 AI Stocks With Moats That Could Outlast Summer Volatility

From chip design to manufacturing to power management, these AI leaders are built to endure beyond the summer trading slump.

AMD’s latest results strengthened its case as an AI infrastructure stock with data center revenue rising sharply on demand for EPYC CPUs and Instinct GPUs.

TSMC remains one of the AI supply chain’s most critical players, with advanced-node manufacturing demand driving strong revenue, margins and capital spending.

Analog Devices offers a quieter AI angle through power management, signal chain and mixed-signal technology used across data centers, robotics and industrial systems.
